Is Internet More Important Than Shelter?

I believe that getting people in developing nations access to the internet is the best, most sustainable action we can take for them. The resources, information, and self-efficacy that follow solve many of the humanitarian ills we tend to focus on piecemeal. Many NIH studies support this claim. What do you think?
