Local French teacher uses internet travel to teach

Former MU student Myles Freborg is now Monsieur Myles. He teaches French to students at Oakland Junior High School and recently started a Skype Travel Program, in which technology is a surrogate for international flights, baggage claim, tourist visas, etc. His students engage with Americans who are studying abroad in order to see the potential for their education. He recognizes that Oakland students may not have the resources to travel and uses Skype as a means to show them the possibilities.
