On Tuesday, Guido Barilla, whose firm Barilla dominates the U.S. pasta market, told an Italian radio show, “I would never do an advert with a homosexual family…if the gays don’t like it they can go an eat another brand." He went on to criticize gay couples adopting. Italian activists have called for a boycott of the brand, and we in the U.S. should follow suit. Instead of buying Barilla sauces and pasta and supporting inequality, why not make your own?
