Minimalistic Reclining Chair Made From Cardboard Boxes

San Francisco-based designer Dan Goldstein has created a minimalistic reclining chair out of cardboard boxes.

Called the ‘RE-PLY Chair’, it uses a molding technique to transform four plies of cardboard into a comfortable and durable shell.

Using heavy duty corrugated fiberboards, Goldstien ‘upcycles’ the materials—rescuing them from the recycling loop and turning them into something more permanent and durable.
