My first meeting with a solar installation company.

met today with the folks from Mimeos. They came to my house to discuss how we could get our energy draw down to net zero. Super interesting learning how the process works. A little frustrated that there is no legal way to actually be off the grid right now (at least through solar) as battery backups are allowed, but can't be accessed ahead of the grid. I think that regulation is going to go sooner than later. anyhow, I'm just stoked to figure this out. have to now decide b/w buy or lease option.
