New Hybrid Role: Teachers as Life Coaches

While most schools have programs to deal with physical aggression, why don't they do more to prevent high school "drama" from escalating to that point? One 10th grade teacher proposes a solution: teachers would take on a dual role as "life coaches" and guides for small groups of students, as well as being their classroom instructors.
