Teacher layoffs and cuts to student clubs and activities—Newark, New Jersey have had enough. On Tuesday April 9, 2013 they're walking out of class and marching on their district's budget meetings to protest the draconian cuts to the city's public schools. "We are no longer separate schools," says one student in the above video. "We are one united voice." But will the adults in charge of education policy decisions listen to that voice when it comes to budget decisions?
