Normally....

Normally, you would find the Angry Moon Rabbit blustering and huffing and puffing about SOMETHING right here, right now, but this morning, I can't find it in myself to be doing such carryings on.  Nope!  NOT TODAY at least...That's not to say...well...anyway, the reason for my somber and somewhat reflective mood is simply this.
AFTER a tumultous year of poltical battles, debates, faux pas, and political suicides we are now faced with the challenge of having a new Prez of this GREAT country of ours and cleaning up the mess left behind by the Bush Administration and ALL of thier evil minions.  The rhetroic has been slung about until it is a sad old sack of crap laying in an abandoned corner of some dusty, cobweb filled warehouse somewhere.  The jibes, the jabs, the verbal and film attacks on opposing political parties however have not had such an ignomious end however, and that IS understandable, up to a certain point anyway.  I have high hopes for my country with a new leader at the helm, I have high hopes for your country with a new leader at the helm, I have high hopes for OUR country with a new leader at the helm.  EVERYONE that was thinking irrationally at the time of Preznit Obama's landslide victory at election probably had some notion that things would CHANGE OVERNIGHT, they DIDN'T and THEY WON'T...the infernal mess left in the wake of Dubya, Shoot 'em in the face Cheney, and good old Condoleeza Rice will NOT just automatically disappear once Barack steps into the White House to take over as the Head Honcho!  It ain't happening, no way, no how.  Political problems that were built up in the past eight years will need to be dismantled WITH CARE, Social Problems that were built up and then left behind like empty soulless hulks will need to be demolished WITH CARE and ya know what?  ALL of THIS will take time, patience and a very balanced and delicate hand.  Does Obama have such a hand?  That's hard to tell at this juncture.  I guess time WILL tell, but know this, The Preznit's job, NO MATTER who they are is NOT and WILL NOT and WILL NEVER be a bed of rose petals and all sweetness and light.  My own personal opinion is that Bush and all of HIS evil minions need to be arrested and tried for war crimes and then hung on the same day of their conviction, and I say that with ALL SINCERITY.  However, MY opinion does NOT mean a thing in the grand scheme of things.  Anyone reading this that does not like what I just said, hey, go to your local EFFA BEE EYE office with a copy of this and show it to them, I DON'T CARE!
Let them come and harass the living crap out of me, I'm NOT a stranger to it, been there, done that and I DO have the Bill of Rights and the Constitution to fall back on...you know, that pesky old thing about FREEDOM OF SPEECH!  So...go ahead...I...DARE...YOU!   Have a NICE DAY!
