Obama Makes Volunteering the Law

Yesterday, Obama, flanked by a few Kennedys, signed a bill drastically increasing the size of Americorps from 75,000 positions to 250,000 positions by 2017. He also exhorted us all to volunteer more in our communities. We've been posting this week about volunteer opportunities in honor of National Volunteer Week (here and here, with more to come throughout the week), but Americorps is another great option.
