Check this awesome organization out, everyone! OptiMize (optimizemichigan.org) is group of quote-on-quote "Social Entrepreneurs"; people who see problems with the world and decide to be the ones to make the change needed to fix them. And the cool thing is, you can too! They have a competition running right now and the application deadline is February 5th; the point is to pitch your idea well enough to win some epic prize money and put it towards your idea. So, as their slogan goes, "Why not ME?"
