In 2012, Chatham High School and Mendham High School competed to see who could raise the most food to help the hungry in Morris County...and for bragging rights. The competition raised over $10,000 worth of food that helped the Salvation Army Morristown Corps and Dover Corps get through the difficult summer months – a time when food donations are low.
Chatham High School won the “bragging rights.” This year, the two schools are at it again and Mendham High School is seeking to turn the tables. Once again, the winner gets bragging rights. Everyone who helps gets the satisfaction of knowing that while they are enjoying their summer – they’ve helped someone in need enjoy theirs, too.
