"No matter which way you look at it, building a house is never green."

Andrew Maynard's solution to this conundrum examines green building in the context of the waning water resource in Australia.  His proposal: build a home out of its own closed-loop water supply, and as water is lost over time (through evaporation, spillage, etc.) replace the structure with the human waste generated by the occupants.
