Where anywhere you can
My family has always recycled. My mother would make an effort to collect the bottles and cans in our home and take them to a center. I am now the woman who collects all my cans and bottles with the CRV Cash Refund label on them, rinses them, and drives them to my local recycling center. Last month I took in six bags of glass and plastic bottles, and aluminum cans and collected $12.43. After I did this I started thinking "What else can I recycle which would provide me some extra spending cash?". I then proceeded to recycle my old textbooks, cds, and even my old iphone. I recycled my iphone at an ecoATM (www.ecoatm.com) at a local shopping center and earned $72 (the ATM gives you the option to donate $1 to The Humane Society). You can recycle anything from electronics to clothing to metal. It is money in your pocket, it's good for the environment, and usually recycling centers are fairly close. So why not? I'm sure it'll put a smile on your face and cash in your hand. Happy Recycling! :)
