Regatta for Reading

This past Sunday, GOOD staff and interns participated in a paddleboat regatta on the lake of Echo Park in Los Angeles. Through an online fundraising site, we helped raise over $2,000 for 826LA, the Los Angeles branch of a nonprofit tutoring, writing, and publishing organization with locations in seven US cities. Ben, Casey, Chris, and Jamie (the latter two put pedal to the metal) represented GOOD among 40-some other teams. We placed 2nd in funds raised!
