Running the World's Driest Desert

On March 9th, Rebecca Pattinson crossed the 250km finish line of the Atacama Crossing in Chile. She ran for 5 days, carrying 10 kilos of worth of food and equipment to place as the 1st female and 18th competitor overall. Her efforts did not go unrewarded: Rebecca raised 10 000 British pounds for autistic care for children in Serbia, a wholly misunderstood and misdiagnosed disability in the region.
