Saving Lives Never Goes Out of Style
Here at Levi Strauss & Co, we're commemorating World AIDS Day in many ways around the world, including some fun and unique artist collaborations that support HIV testing. World renowned graphic artist Stefan Sagmeister created an interactive art poster that has discs that can be removed by consumers with HIV testing info on the back -- thus "fighting" the virus as they take away resource information. The Levi's® brand is distributing the art and the posters in retail stores, online and in community locations in San Francisco and other major cities. Better yet, if you spot a poster, upload a picture to our Levi's® Facebook page! [http://www.facebook.com/Levis] We're proud that Levi Strauss & Co. has been doing our humble part to fight HIV/AIDS for more than 25 years through a global effort of comprehensive HIV/AIDS treatment and care for our employees and families, consumer education, public policy advocacy and support for HIV/AIDS non-profits. This year we launched a new interactive website for HIV/AIDS education for our workforce and are extending the tools within supply chain to encourage HIV prevention education in factories worldwide. Today, we also partnered with AIDS Healthcare Foundation to sponsor free voluntary HIV testing for employees at our headquarters in San Francisco.Learn more about our 25 year history, check out the art and spread the word: www.levi.com/worldaidsday
