Where On the way to work
This is kind of awesome: Martin Van Vosch, who lives near Amsterdam, started noticing how unhappy everyone seemed who he passed on the way to work in the mornings. He decided to start saying good morning to everyone, and over time, more and more people started saying good morning back. Now, as he's walking to the station, someone will come around the corner, they'll recognize each other, and smile. Nice way to transform a dreary commute. He's also started a website, and invites anyone to upload a video of themselves saying good morning, too—but it seems like the sort of experiment that would best be tried in person.
