Seattle Opens the World's Greenest Office Building

Challenge completed. The Bullitt Foundation, a sustainability advocacy group in Seattle, has built the world's greenest office building by combining numerous widely used sustainability methods in their 6-story building. The Bullitt Center, which has officially opened its doors to tenants, powers itself - a 5,000-square foot building - with solar panels, uses only harvested rainwater, is designed to utilize natural lighting, heats itself with geothermal walls and even composts toilet matter.
