Slow design highlight: THE WISDOM OF THE HIVE

One of the gorgeous images in the opening sequence of slowLab's video http://kck.st/11obs8s is of ‘Tablecloth,' a project by Canadian artist Aganetha Dyck created in collaboration with 400,000 bees. Dyck's work introduces everyday human objects into the apiary, inviting bee colonies continue the creative process. Rejecting notions of superiority of human design, her bee collaborations demonstrate what can happen when we trust the intelligence of other species.
