Most slums areas in Mumbai are densely clustered. This means a large percentage of homes have no access to natural light. Since most cannot afford electricity, Jal Jyoti seeks to remedy help by installing bottles of bleached water through corrugated tin roof to create the equivalent of a 60 watt light-bulb.
