Stump Birds

These birds are painted on branch stumps a couple blocks from my apartment in Los Feliz, on Rodney Street between Russell and Melbourne. I've been meaning to shoot photos of them for at least a month, and when it started raining I was afraid they'd be gone. Fortunately, they're still there -- although a little worse for wear.

Mohawk military parrot is a particular favorite.
