support Graffiti Gardening to assure they can continue building public gardens for their youth & community
Where Chicago, IL
Kids that grow kale eat kale is why I am doing this. I live in a very diverse neighborhood that is a food desert. Most of the kids in my neighborhood have never seen vegetables growing let alone eat them fresh off the vine. So to help with this issue I have starting taking unused public space and turning it into public gardens. These gardens provide free food for the community, a project for the youth to get involved in and it also makes the neighborhood more beautiful which instills pride and respect. And I need help to continue and keep transforming these spaces and my community.
