TAFA: The Textile and Fiber Art List

I launched TAFA in 2010 with the intention of creating an organization that promotes hand made textiles, new and old. TAFA's mission, "markets for members" brings together contemporary and traditional textiles on a common platform, believing that both the studio artist and cottage industries need access to the same markets. We use social media platforms heavily as a way to both promote our members and to develop community. Most members have an environmental/social mission in what they do.
