As the Daily Kos recently wrote, if 34,000 people can ask Obama for a Death Star, surely we can petition for climate action. The president repeatedly raised the issue of climate change during the campaigns, and Hurricane Sandy underscored the fact that many communities are tragically vulnerable to the effects of climate change.
