The Best of Brown On Campus (1.27.13): Bernice King Speaks for MLK Jr. Day
The Rev. Bernice King, CEO of the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change and daughter of the iconic activist, will deliver the 2013 Martin Luther King Jr. Lecture at Brown University on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013. The theme of her talk will be “Advancing the ‘Dream’: Addressing Social Equity Issues to Eliminate Health Disparities in the 21st Century.” It is free and open to the public and begins at 4 p.m. in Salomon Center for Teaching, De Ciccio Family Auditorium.
