"You couldn't dream of better faces," says Crum. "We have a collection of faces here that are unmistakably from New Orleans."
In his 30 years of taking portraits in the Big Easy, Crum's motivation has remained the same: finding faces that transcend the narrow restrictions that convention places on beauty and convey something deep and personal about the character of the place.
