The future of technology in Africa
Over 50 technology hubs exist across the African continent, in Cameroon, Kenya, Rwanda, and other countries. These hubs are open spaces for entrepreneurs, students, investors, programmers, developers and techies to gather, work and innovate. Most hubs are privately funded, but President Kagame created the kLab in Rwanda as part of his bigger development plan for the country. In addition, these hubs are "critical international touch-points" for visitors hoping to develop programs in Africa.
