I had an adventure in 2009 which I define as an experience without a predetermined outcome. Ordinarily, I compare such experiences with air travel to exotic places where passports are presented for entry.I've been a travel junkie for most of my life, really enjoying and thriving on the unexpected challenges, glimpses into the unimagined lives of others, opportunities to see different aspects of the world. I love cultural interplay.During each month of 2009 I spent time travelling to new worlds in and around Denver by volunteering at a different nonprofit organization: spending time, not money, moving quickly in and out of each new destination. My itinerary was fluid and developed as the year progressed.I covered much ground shedding blood, sweat and tears:
