The Great American Teach-Off Round 2: Voting Opens Today

We're pleased to announce the top ten finalists for the second round of The Great American Teach-Off. These seventh through twelfth grade teachers are competing for a $10,000 classroom grant and we need your help deciding who most deserves to win.
Every Monday, through April 2, we will upload a new video from the finalists talking about education, innovation, and what they’re doing in their classrooms. Watch the videos here each week and vote for your favorite teacher.
You can vote once per day during the voting period to help propel your favorite through each round. Each week the two teachers with the least votes will be eliminated, until we’re down to one outstanding teacher. Voting will end April 9.

- Daryl Bilandzija – An eighth grade English teacher at Odyssey Charter School in Altadena, California.
- Nirvani Bissessar – A ninth grade teacher at the High School for Public Service in Brooklyn, New York.
- Kevin Crosby – An eleventh grade special education teacher at Independence High School in Bakersfield, California.
- Vivian Isom – A communications media teacher for seventh through twelfth graders at Roosevelt High School in Roosevelt, New York.
- Carlos Juarez – A seventh grade teacher at John Liechty Middle School in Los Angeles, California.
- Chris Kubic – An eleventh grade U.S. history teacher at Grayslake North High School in Grayslake, Illinois.
- Matt Meyers – A tenth grade science teacher at Greenwich High School in Greenwich, Connecticut.
- Anne Paolicelli – An eleventh grade English teacher at the Pittsburgh School for the Creative and Performing Arts in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Mark Rogers – A seventh and eighth grade mathematics teacher at the Meridian School in Round Rock, Texas.
- Christopher Tully – A multimedia technology instructor at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology in Jamison, Pennsylvania.
