The Island Where People Forget to Die

After being diagnosed with cancer and six months to live, a war veteran returned to his tiny, self-sufficient island of Ikara in Greece to spend his final days. Three decades later he's happy and cancer free, recovering without ever having had chemotherapy. His story is not unique for residents of the island and point to ways we could structure our own lives to also live healthier and longer.
