The World's Largest Living Wall, with 44,000 Plants

This beautiful living wall, on a shopping mall near Milan, holds more than 44,000 plants. It took a year to grow all of the mosses, flowers, and other plants in a greenhouse. Like other living walls, this one helps the building cut down on energy use and lower heating and cooling bills. It also absorbs noise and emissions from nearby cars.
