Using Current Technologies, the Earth's Wind Could Exceed Our Global Power Needs

Two independent U.S. studies have determined that "wind has the potential to produce more than 20 times the amount of energy the world now consumes." Available wind-energy resources are not the limiting factor in creating a 100% wind-powered world. We're held back by financial resources, political will, and the "not-in-my-backyard" phenomenon.
