Volunteer Runners Hit the Streets with Shelter Dogs

There are organizations coast to coast that provide opportunities for runners to exercise with shelter dogs. Both the runners and the dogs get an exercise buddy, and with all the stress that the dogs get to release, they become more adoptable. Exercise makes dogs happy, and happy, socialized dogs get adopted.
