Watch Your Language: Website Monitors Homophobic Tweets
Over the years its become less and less politically correct to call things "gay" or someone a "homo." But instances of casual homophobia still happen. The website NoHomophobes.com knows exactly how often - on Twitter at least - through tracking tweets that contain these words. At the time of writing, "faggot" was tweeted 34,390 times. The site makes a good point: "Homophobic language isn’t always meant to be hurtful, but how often do we use it without thinking?"
