What's worse: drone strikes or shooting little girls?

After a Taliban hitman walked onto a school bus and shot a 14-year old female activist in the head, prominent Pakistani politicians are refusing to condemn violent extremism. They're angrier about errant U.S. drone strikes, which have killed hundreds of civilians, including children, since 2004. What gives?
