White House Turns Down Petition to Build the Death Star

It turns out there are some nerds with a sense of humor at the White House. A petition submitted to We the People actually asked the Obama Administration to "Secure resources and funding, and begin construction of a Death Star by 2016." Well, the White House's reply is nothing short of amazing: "The Administration shares your desire for job creation and a strong national defense, but a Death Star isn't on the horizon."
