Women Working To Do Good: Nora Rahimian and Liberian Prison Youth

Nora Rahimian came to the United States during the Iran-Iraq War. After moving from Glendale to Beverly Hills, she noticed a disparity in wealth and more gang activity in Glendale. In high school, she decided to work with gangs, and when she got to college at The New School, she found a passion for working with incarcerated youth in Liberia through an international field placement program. Now, she is spearheading The Liberian Prison Project, which advocates for incarcerated youth in Liberia.
