You May Want to Sit Down for This...Jon Stewart Taking ‘Daily Show’ Break To Direct Film About Iran

Whyyyyyy!?!? I mean I love John Oliver... but he is no Stewart. The movie he is directing (and wrote) is “Rosewater,” which deals with journalism and government imprisonment in Iran, among other subjects. The movie was adapted from the book “Then They Came for Me: A Family’s Story of Love, Captivity, and Survival” by Iranian journalist Maziar Bahari, who was imprisoned by Iran after being accused of being a spy (something he denied) after being a guest on “The Daily Show.”
