"Life According to Sam" is available On Demand, if you missed it on HBO or in a festival. Sam lived far longer than his study group, and inspired millions. RIP.

Sam, all I can say is that you are awesome.

Sadly, Sam passed away last month at 17. He probably lived 5 more years than he would have due to the diligence of his parents trying to find a cure. He leaves a powerful legacy. If you haven't seen the full documentary on HBO, I highly recommend it!

He really touched me. That is sad news. I'm sure I can find it online somewhere to watch. I agree with you, he left behind his insight on life and positive values that will be passed on in years to come!

The thing that I love the most about videos of people like this is that it never drags pity out of me, but intense respect and compassion instead. PARTY ON SAM! :)

Amazing. I love how he never thinks about what he can't do- but rather what he can do. Most importantly, I think the fact he doesn't dwell- and that he moves forward- is something we all need to do more often, for each other- not just ourselves.
