This Melting Board Game Made of Ice is a Literal Lesson on Climate Change

What's the best way for children to understand the urgency of climate change? One way is to design a game that makes them race against the clock, with ice that's literally melting as they play. This board game, called "Meltdown," starts with making miniature 'ice floes' in the freezer; the object of the game is saving polar bears before all of the ice is gone.
