Did you collect Pokémon cards? Quick, call up your parents and tell them to find that box in your room! Some of those little cards are worth big bucks and are burning their way through eBay.

A holographic Charizard nets $30,000 on eBay, and a Bebe's Search Spring Battle Road holo trophy card is priced at $400. The most expensive is the Pokémon Illustrator card. This card was given to winners of an illustration contest in 1997 and 1998. Only 39 were made, and they are now worth $100,000 each.

When buying and selling, it’s important to note the card’s PSA rating by Professional Sports Authenticator, a company that grades cards’ quality and preservation on a scale of 1 to 10.

To earn the top rating, PSA Gem Mint 10, a card must have, according to the PSA website, “four perfectly sharp corners, sharp focus and full original gloss … free of staining of any kind, but an allowance may be made for a slight printing imperfection, if it doesn't impair the overall appeal of the card.” And that’s just the beginning.

Don’t fret if you can’t find obscurities in your collection. Even more realistically priced cards can bring in some nice cash, like this “Battle Fiesta Pikachu” for $23.99.
