Hey Pierce, I love this project and I'm looking forward to seeing what's next for you guys. How did you end up hooking up with that school in Portobelo anyway? I was in that town for a couple days last year and I remember seeing their sign.

Sounds like a cool party. Teddy Pendregrass knew what he was talking about.

The night the lights went out for the NY blackout of 2003, a friend had planned to have a party. She had food & drinks already and many guests lived nearby, so we still gathered in the dark. We probably felt comforted by the company (instead of being separated by darkness). But I remember that without lights or music, there was more of a campfire vibe and we shared lots of stories—it felt much more intimate than a typical gathering. Very cool.

2 months later, Yomira joined us in North Carolina for a festival called Shakori Hills and an amazing anti-conference called Switchpoint. She is easily one of the coolest human beings on the planet.
