    There's a super cool community in the small city of Ithaca, New York that is currently installing somewhere around 25 Passive Houses in its new sustainable community. It's called EcoVillage at Ithaca and I really think it's worth mentioning, since there are very few certified Passive Houses in America right now. The houses can apparently reduce energy expenditure on heating and cooling by up to 90 percent! Cool stuff. Here's an article I co-wrote about it: http://www.ithacaweek.com/?p=3259
