‘Leave my name out ya mouth’

Saturday, rapper-actor Ice Cube told Donald Trump to “Check yo’self before you wreck yo’self” on Twitter after Internet rumors suggested he endorsed the GOP candidate. Cube’s tweets were a response to a video from last April where the former N.W.A.-star explained the Republican nominee’s appeal. “He looks like a boss to everybody and Americans love to have a boss,” Cube said. “So, you know, that’s his appeal to me.”
Cube also needed to clarify his stance after a fake meme created by @Don_vito_08 began circulating. Ice Cube is a lifelong Los Angeles / Oakland (soon-to-be Las Vegas?) Raiders fan and the original photo shows Ice Cube slowing his love for the Silver and Black at the Oakland Coliseum. But @Don_Vito_08 removed the Raiders logo and replaced it with “Trump: Make America Great Again.”

Cube responded to the Trump controversy with two strongly-worded Tweets calling him a “mothafu**a” and to “‘Leave my name out ya mouth’ ”

This isn’t the first time @Don_vito_08’s work has stirred controversy. Previously, a fake tweet he created featuring an African-American family endorsing Trump and a meme comparing Melania Trump with Heidi Cruz made the news as well.
