How To: Timelapse iPhone Video in Any Weather

Who says sleet, flooded postholes, mud baths and icy winter wind should stymie your urge to document your good deeds?

Who says sleet, flooded postholes, mud baths and icy winter wind should stymie your urge to document your good deeds? Foul weather didn't stop Corning, New York's Southside Neighborhood Association who barreled through a fall storm to bring their self-designed playground to life.
A time-lapse video we posted earlier this month shows volunteers of all sizes hauling lumber, painting details, and building towers, be it night or day, rain or shine.
We caught up with Tom Berry, the Corning volunteer videographer, who shared his extreme weather time-lapse recording secrets. He says a video this good is in reach of all smartphone-equipped laymen. His tutorial is simple and the finished product is good enough to show the grandkids.
