I began my photography career in Mumbai before moving to the United Arab Emirates in 2007 to work as a Staff Photojournalist for the national daily Gulf News. In 2009, I was one of the selected photographers from Asia to participate in the Angkor Photography Workshop in Cambodia. After a four year stint in the Middle East, I went on to spend fourteen months traveling through Asia working on personal photo projects. Since 2013, I have been working as an independent documentary photographer based between Mumbai and Goa. My main areas of interests lie in documenting human rights issues affecting women and the environment. In 2016, I was awarded a grant by the IWMF to produce a photo story about sportswomen in Haryana, north India. Besides English, I speak Hindi, Marathi, Konkani, basic French and Turkish.
