On the most recent Last Week Tonight, John Oliver has an incredible segment on online harassment. But the best part of the 17-minute video consists of this remake of a hokey AOL commercial from 1995. Watch as absurd humor is used to bring attention to the plight of being a woman on the internet. Oh, and you can tell it’s struck a nerve with internet trolls: while most of John Oliver’s videos have a less than 1% dislike ratio – this one has a whopping 33%. Not to mention the slew of vile comments on the video page.
