Robert Downey Jr. Helps Turn Boy with Disability Into Real-Life Iron Man

He gets to live every kid’s dream of becoming a real-life superhero.

Alex, a 7-year-old boy born with a partially developed arm, gets to live every kid’s dream of becoming a real-life superhero thanks to Robert Downey Jr. and Alberto Manero, a #CollectiveProject student who founded Limbitless, an engineering community made up of volunteers dedicated to changing lives through the innovation of new bionic limbs. They surprised Alex with his very own Iron Man arm, which was created at no cost to Alex’s family and getting the real Iron Man to deliver it had to make for a truly unforgettable day.
