Intermission: A Year in New York City

A video tribute to life, love, and the moments in time that make up both.

For months, filmmaker Andrew Clancy picked up his camera and filmed what he saw around him in New York City. The result is a sincere tribute to life, love, and the moments in time that make up both. Set to the spiritual song "We Don't Eat" by James Vincent McMorrow, the video chronicles an afternoon in Grand Central Station, a football game in the dead of winter, musicians in the subway tunnels, and boats bobbing in the Central Park Lake. It reminds us that what creates the greatest cities in the world aren't iconic skyscrapers, but the people breathing life into them.
