The French artist Céleste Boursier-Mougenot placed a number of electric guitars and other instruments in an aviary full of zebra finches for his "Rhythms of Life" installation at the Barbican Art Gallery in London. For whatever it's worth, The Finches would be a marvelous band name-and these finches' sound lands somewhere between Sonic Youth and Fuck Buttons.
